We know it can be confusing when you are trying to compare mills and pricing. We want this to
be easy and uncomplicated.
You will have some choices in how you would like your fiber processed. If you
are new to having your fleeces processed please feel free to discuss your ideas with us. Call or email with
your questions and we will be happy to walk you through planning your order. Our prices for spinning yarn is designed to be simple, clear .Skirting ,washing, picking & carding are charged
on incoming weight. This cost is $13.00 per pound.Well skirted fiber reduces this cost. Pin drafting spinning and plying into
finished yarn is charged on finished weight. Yarn is returned on cones at no additional cost.This is a two step pricing
system . The roving pricing is in addition to the spinning charges.You may choose to have your yarn returned in 4 oz
skeins - add $2.00/lb finished weight or 250 yard skeins - add $1.75/lb finished weight.

PLY refers to how many strands are combined to make
a finished yarn. 3 ply is standard for Central Virginia Fiber Mill products because we feel this produces a lofty, rounded
yarn which fiber artists love. Plying different colors or fibers together can create a lovely novelty yarn. We
will add more plys, for an additional cost, if requested.

We will accept pre-washed fleeces by pre-arrangement. . Prewashing must meet our standards
or we will rewash your fiber and the full charge will apply. Please do not use any fabric softener or conditioner on
your fleece as we will be required to rewash the fiber. Inquire about discount.
